slate tile adhesive query

Question:
hi there,
can you please tell me if i should use a special adhesive to stick these on my walls? Or can i use normal tile adhesive?

Answer:
It is recommended that you use a wall tile adhesive when applying slate tiles to a wall, it is also advisable to also use a flexible tile adhesive especially when installing slate tiles on to plasterboard or studed wall, also make sure you apply a primer to the walls so that you get a good bond with the tiles. If you dont use a bonding agent then you run the risk of the plaster sucking the water out of the adhesive before it has dried & this could cause your tiles to fall off the wall, painful if you are in the bath!!
