At Trade Price Stone we can offer various options to you as Brazilian & Chinese Slate Exporters Importers. We supply direct from the factory to your specified delivery destination or if you have no unloading facility, we can arrange to unload your products at our warehouse & deliver direct to you.

Q. Who am I dealing with?
I have been importing stone from all over the world for 15 years, my knowledge has been gained by working for some of the biggest distributors in the UK for this time as there buyer, we only deal with reputable suppliers & we never compromise on quality.

Q. Do I have to be in the trade to order by the container?
The container prices we quote are for anybody who can meet the minimum order quantity.

Q. What is the minimum order quantity for container orders of Slate?
As the slate exporter we can offer you a minimum order quantity for slate tiles of 500m2, usually we load 1000m2 on a 20ft container from Brazil & 700m2 on a 20ft container from China to minimize the overall freight cost. However, even placing the minimum order can still give you huge savings.

Q. How does container supply work?

Its very simple;

1.You can make an enquiry to us by going to the CONTAINER SUPPLY page, you then browse the products & find what you like, by clicking the email link below a product, it will open an enquiry request, you then submit this to us.

2. From the information you have supplied we will send you a quotation that includes the delivery cost Direct to you from our supplier, the slate exporter, this can be for delivery direct to site or delivery to our warehouse to ship to you, whichever is easier for you.

3. If you agree with the quotation, we then send you a sample so that you can see for yourself the quality of the product; alternatively you can visit our warehouse & view the product personnely if we have it in stock.

4. If you are happy with the sample of the slate tile or product sample you have requested, we then place your order with the factory.

5. We then ask for a 10% deposit to secure the order.

6. We then sit back & wait a while for your goods are being produced, usually between 5 – 8 weeks, depending on the time of year.

7. Once the products are ready they are shipped to the port, loaded on to a container ship & then sail to the UK or Europe, we fax copies of the Bills of Lading & packing list to you so you can see that your product has been shipped.

8. We then require that the goods are paid for in full before they arrive at the destination port. Once the goods arrive, we arrange delivery to site or to our agreed delivery address

Q. How many m2 are on one container?
This all depends on the product & its thickness.

As a guide:
Brazilan Products
Roofing slate up to 7mm thickness we can load 1500m2
Slate Tiles 8 - 12mm thickness we can load 1000m2
Slate Pavers 25-35mm thickness we can load 350m2

Chinese Products
Slate Tiles 8-12mm thickness we can load up to 750m2
Slate Pavers 25-35mm thickness we can load up to 400m2

Q. Am I resticted to getting just one product in the container?
Certainly not! We can load a mixture of any products you specify, but you must take into account that the maximum loading weight is 26,000kgs in the UK, the loading weight also depends on which country your products are being delivered to but we can advise you of this.

Q. Do you ship to Europe?
Yes we can ship to most European destinations. As the slate exporter we can specify where you would like the goods delivered to. If you would like a quotation for shipping to Europe then please let us know when you send your enquiry.

Q. I need a smaller amount than a container load, what can you do for me?
We do have products available in our warehouse for purchase. We do not stock all products, but we do stock the popular selling products. If we do not have what you require in stock then we can order it for you direct from the factory.
